Religion is mans attempt to worship God. Most of the time man tries to mold God into what he wants, not what God wants. Many Christian religions focus on a couple of items from the Bible, and takes them to unintended extremes. Non Christian religions just miss the mark, missing the mark is sin, and the price of sin is death. Man isn't perfect so when he puts his hand into something, like religion, it isn't going to be perfect either. The Bible is Gods instructions to man and the only source that can be trusted.

Proverb:30:4: Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in His fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is His name, and what is His Son's name, if thou canst tell?

Proverb:30:5: Every Word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
